Terms of service.

The rules for using scalelane.io, the application and the merchant portal.

Last updated: October 18, 2026

In short
  • Applying is free and creates no obligation on either side.
  • ScaleLane connects businesses with payment processing options. It is not a bank or a payment institution, and approval is never guaranteed.
  • No review time is guaranteed.
  • Processing rates and conditions are set in a separate agreement, which you are free to accept or decline.

01Who we are

scalelane.io and the ScaleLane service are operated by Meyence LLC, a limited liability company formed in the State of Wyoming, United States, with its registered office at 6405 Saykally Rd, STE 5763, Cheyenne, WY 82009, United States ("ScaleLane", "we", "us").

You can reach us at contact@scalelane.io.

02What these terms cover

These terms apply when you browse this website, submit an application or use the merchant portal (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you use the Service for a business, you confirm that you are authorised to act for it.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the Service.

03What ScaleLane does, and does not do

ScaleLane provides an application through which our team reviews your business and, where a suitable option exists, puts a payment processing offer in front of you. Once your application is accepted, ScaleLane gives you access to a dashboard and a checkout page builder (Checkout Studio), under the agreement that then applies.

ScaleLane is not a bank, a payment institution or a money transmitter. Payments are processed, and funds are held and settled, by third-party payment providers under their own terms. Whether to accept a business, and on what conditions, is ultimately decided by the relevant provider.

04Your application

Submitting an application is free and requires no card details. It is not an offer, a contract for payment processing or a promise of approval.

  • You agree to give information that is accurate, complete and current, and to correct it if it changes.
  • We may ask for supporting documents, such as proof of identity, a bank document or company registration. They are requested and uploaded through your merchant portal.
  • We may decline an application, or stop reviewing it, at our discretion and without having to give reasons, including where information is missing or cannot be verified.

05How long the review takes

Every application is reviewed individually. No review time is guaranteed: it depends on your business, the documents requested and the requirements of the relevant provider. If we ask for documents, the review continues once we receive them.

06Offers, fees and the agreement that follows

Using this website, the application and the merchant portal is free.

If an offer is available, we explain the rates, payout schedule and any reserve or additional requirement before you decide. Those conditions are set out in a separate agreement with us and/or the relevant payment provider. Nothing is charged, and no processing starts, until you have accepted that agreement. If these terms and that agreement conflict, the agreement prevails.

07Your merchant portal

You sign in to the merchant portal with a one-time code sent to the email address used in your application. Keep access to that mailbox secure: anyone who can read it can open your portal. Tell us at once if you believe someone else has had access.

08Demonstrations on this website

The videos and visuals on this website show the product with demo data. The store, customers, orders and amounts they contain are fictitious.

09Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • submit false, misleading or stolen information or documents, or apply on behalf of a business without its authority;

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that an application will be approved, or that any offer will be available. 13Suspension and ending

You can stop using the Service at any time, and ask us to close your application by writing to us. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or if we are required to by law or by a payment provider.
